Backgammon Resources

Find local groups

The easiest way to get started is to find your local community or events page on Facebook. You are providing value/entertainment for the members so it’s the kind of post they like. You shouldn’t be criticized for it.

Compose a message

Be short and quick. To get started just post “Does anyone want to play some backgammon?” If you already have details like location, times, etc add them to the post. If you’re just getting started you can add “If there’s enough interest I’d love the start a club, but I just want to play.”

Be responsive

Respond to all comments that aren’t from trolls. If you’re asked a question, answer it like you’re talking to a group. Like everyone’s post so they know you’re the real deal. If you’re messaged, respond back. Ask them if they have a backgammon board(s). You will need one for every 2 people.
